Riley Keough Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since the Death of Mom Lisa Marie Presley
Riley Keough made a glamorous appearance at the LA premiere of "Daisy Jones & the Six" on Thursday night. The actor looked stunning in an all-black ensemble and was accompanied by her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen. Keough was also joined by her costars, including Camila Morrone, Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse, Nabiyah Be, Josh Whitehouse, Sebastian Chacon, Tom Wright, Timothy Olyphant, and executive producer Reese Witherspoon. The event marked Keough's first red carpet appearance since the death of her mother Lisa Marie Presley on Jan. 12. "Daisy Jones & the Six" follows a band, led by main character Daisy Jones (Keough), during their rise to rock music fame in the 1970s and all the drama that ensues. The Prime Video series provides a look into the world of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. As the granddaughter of the legendary Elvis Presley, Keough told People at the premiere that it was "amazing" to play a character that also came from a musical family. "I mean, it was amazing because I'm passionate about music and we had rehearsed for a year and a half," Keough told the outlet. "So by the time we got to the stage, it was very exciting and we were all just like thrilled to be able to test out the thing we'd been practicing for so long and it was wonderful." Keough also revealed that her husband will make a cameo in the show's second episode. "I don't want to spoil it, but the producers thought it would be funny if he was in that scene," Keough told Entertainment Tonight. "They were like, 'Do you want Ben to do this?' And I was like, 'Yeah, that's hilarious.'" Keough and Smith-Petersen first met on the set of "Mad Max: Fury Road" in 2012, and they began dating a year later. In 2015, they officially tied the knot in two different ceremonies: one in Nepal and one in Napa Valley, CA. They have one daughter together, though the couple have not revealed when she was born. "Daisy Jones & the Six" hits Prime Video on March 3. In the meantime, see more photos of Keough at the show's LA premiere ahead.
