Olivia Munn and John Mulaney have been sharing sweet glimpses of their two children ever since becoming parents in November 2021.
Us Weekly confirmed in December 2021 that Munn had given birth “just before Thanksgiving.” The couple named their son Malcolm, who arrived three years before Munn and Mulaney tied the knot in 2024.
One year earlier, Munn was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy and hysterectomy. She and the comedian also froze several embryos.
“After my diagnosis, we decided to try one more round of egg retrievals and hoped it was a good month,” Munn recalled to Vogue in a May 2024 profile. “John and I talked about it a lot and we don’t feel like we’re done growing our family, but didn’t know if I would have to do chemotherapy or radiation.”
Four months later, Munn and Mulaney welcomed baby No. 2, daughter Méi, via surrogate.
“I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter,” Munn wrote via Instagram in September 2024. “When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother-to-mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel.”
