Drake’s OVO unveils new Toronto Maple Leafs merch as part of collaboration with NHL
Drake’s fashion label and the National Hockey League (NHL) are teaming up to launch a new fall-winter 2022 collection. The first drop of the partnership called “Celebrating Icons of Hockey” features Toronto Maple Leaf legends Doug Gilmour and Curtis Joseph modelling the new line.The collaboration will include a limited edition leather and wool varsity jacket. Only 250 pieces were made. “As one of the longest standing hockey franchises, the Toronto Maple Leafs have been an integral part of Canada’s sports heritage since 1917,” reads the Instagram post. The post also said OVO’s collabs with other hockey franchises will be coming soon. Fans can get their hands on the new collection starting Nov. 28 at 12 p.m. EST. This is a long-anticipated partnership after OVO has been partnering with other Toronto teams, including the Raptors and Toronto FC.
