Brazil to impose entry restrictions on some Asian nationals to stop migration to US and Canada
The new restrictions, which will come into effect on August 26, will affect migrants who require a visa to stay in Brazil. Citizens from those countries, who sometimes land in Brazil but forego their connecting flight, will either have to continue their journey by plane or return to their country of origin.
