Awaiting full vaccination, William Nylander misses out on Leafs’ Muskoka trip
William Nylander was a no-show at the Maple Leafs’ getaway in Gravenhurst, Ont.Nylander is not fully vaccinated against the coronavirus and only the fully vaccinated are allowed into the Gravenhurst Centennial Recreation Centre.Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe offered a terse two-word answer when asked of Nylander’s whereabouts after 26 of his teammates skated for nearly two hours.“In Toronto.”Ondrej Kaše skated in Nylander’s spot with John Tavares and Ilya Mikheyev.The Leafs have been enjoying the fall colours in Muskoka, largely while playing golf.
